Lived in area 12 years Both children attended forehill one now Kyle,area was particularly attractive when we first moved due to the safe nature and small school things have changed massively but nothing has been done so far as to deal with the mass of parents parking unsafely in this area and it is a concern

The traffic at Alloway primary school is terrible. People park on the pavements & across the red square, they often shout at our lollypop lady. It’s disgusting. A car mounted the pavement next to me and my son to pass double parked cars on Woodend road. It’s an accident waiting to happen. They park across all the junctions too. A visit from wardens and police a couple of times a year is not stopping this! Our headteacher tells parents constantly to stop doing these things. We need help!

This will be a huge benefit, although the biggest problem is selfish, lazy parents who have no consideration for the safety of other people’s children .............many of whom will continue with their ways and think ‘it’s not my problem’ or ‘nobody tells me where to park!’

Why do these alterations now. Personally just stagger the times the pupils finish school. Money could be better spent and due to covid is an excuse as we now have a vaccine and we hopefully will all be back to normal before any work would be completed. So complete waste of money and could be better spent.

Totally agree. Pavement way too narrow around school when we are not allowed in the playground it is impossible to stay away from people especially when you have P1 or P2 and you have to be there until bell rings
