I drive the beach front with my disabled family member in the car, this will restrict our access and similar others. Please keep the space free to roam and drive. Not everyone can walk. Stop imposing so many social controls. It is a large area and plenty room to distance if requires.

Scrap this proposal. The low green offers ample space for walking and the adjacent footpath for cycling. This proposal is yet another mindless idea put forward by the council services to make completely unnecessary changes. It is recognised how well this area is used and yet the proposal looks to remove this available space. Is the council looking to remove ANY incentive for people to visit Ayr and have easy access to the shoreline.

I feel there is no need for this, it’s a wide open area, we are safe to walk on the promenade in the fresh air. And where will all the council staff park?
